ABSTRACT
The Bangladeshi rural and subsistence agriculture sectors view the agricultural financing initiative as a major game changer. This study aims to find out the demand for agricultural credit and the profitability of boro rice cultivation. The main objective of this study is to assess the socio-economic characteristics of the respondents, investigate the availability, utilisation, and repayment of loans by the beneficiaries, determine profitability, and assess the problems of boro rice cultivation. A sample of 50 respondents who were the beneficiaries of Bangladesh Krishi Bank was selected randomly from Sadar Upazilla of Mymensingh district. Primary data were gathered using an interview schedule during a field survey. Descriptive and profitability analyses were used to achieve the objectives. The findings reveal that 70% of respondents are aged 30 to 64 years, 50% belong to medium families, and 22% belong to large families. 50% of respondents finished only primary education, whereas only 20% completed their higher secondary education. 30% of respondents could afford to complete their secondary education. This study also showed that 40% of respondents took a small amount of loan (less than $30,000), 32% took a medium amount of loan (30000–$50,000), and only 28% took a large amount of loan (more than $50,000). An average small, medium, and large amount of loan applied for and received was Tk. 22150, 45937.5, and 87857.14, respectively. The repayment rate was 100%. Per hectare/season gross return, total cost, and net return were Tk. 175867.5, 158893, and 16974.5, respectively. The benefit-cost ratio was 1.65. The main problems faced by the boro rice cultivators were low profits, labour-intensive work, a lack of agricultural extension services, and a lack of labour during the harvest season. The government should place extra emphasis on this sector, focusing mainly on agricultural credit and extension services.

ABSTRACT
In the realm of MBA Marketing, Customer Relationship Management, or CRM, plays a pivotal role in emphasizing the significance of prioritizing existing customers over constantly seeking new ones. This approach challenges the traditional belief that acquiring new customers daily is a feasible task for marketing managers. CRM advocates for the collection and analysis of customer data to gain insights into their preferences and behaviors. However, in less developed nations, the high cost of technology often hinders effective data management. The emergence of social media has revolutionized this landscape by offering a largely cost-free platform for connecting with a global audience. While funding is necessary for advertisements, the initial outreach on social media is typically free. This shift has empowered businesses to expand their reach beyond local boundaries and tap into a worldwide customer base without incurring additional costs.

ABSTRACT
Employee retention rate is indeed a critical aspect for managers, especially HR managers worldwide. It impacts various aspects of an organization. Firstly, it affects training costs, which in turn influence the overall expenses. Secondly, employee retention is crucial for shaping organizational culture and behavior. It serves as a test of a manager’s leadership skills, reflecting the image and work culture of the organization. There are several factors contributing to low employee retention rates which are discussed in this article. Experts suggest that globalization has set a standard where only global norms are deemed acceptable across industries. This pursuit of global standards can lead to increased pressure on employees from their employers, resulting in stress and ultimately low retention rates. Therefore, globalization is a significant factor affecting employee retention. Throughout history, when faced with epidemics or pandemics, life tends to come to a standstill. Such disruptions can significantly impact employee retention as uncertainty and fear during these times can affect job security and stability, leading to higher turnover rates.
